Noctara opens dedicated flight test and integration facility in Goa

GOA, India. Noctara has opened a flight test and integration facility in Goa that brings airframe assembly, avionics integration and flight operations together on a single site.

The facility houses assembly bays for the Nyx, Vesper and Umbra platforms, an anechoic chamber for radio-frequency testing, a hardware-in-the-loop simulation laboratory and a flight operations centre for the company's test programme.

Co-locating engineering and flight test lets the team move from a design change to a flight test in days rather than months. The facility is expected to support several hundred test sorties a year as the company's platforms progress toward production.
